UNIPMA Lantik Tiga Wakil Rektor Periode 2026-2030, Perkuat Tata Kelola Menuju Kampus Berdampak
Universitas PGRI Madiun (Universitas PGRI Madiun) has officially begun a new chapter in its leadership structure. The Rector of Universitas PGRI Madiun, Dr. Supri Wahyudi Utomo, M.Pd., inaugurated three vice rectors for the 2026–2030 term at Graha Cendekia Building on Wednesday (12/2). This momentum marks the institution’s strategic step in accelerating transformation toward global education standards.
The three Vice Rectors entrusted with the new mandate are Prof. Dr. Marheny Lukitasari, M.Pd., as Vice Rector I for Academic Affairs and Innovation; Dr. Elva Nuraina, M.Si., as Vice Rector II for General Affairs and Finance; and Dr. Jeffry Handhika, M.Pd., M.Si., as Vice Rector III for Student Affairs and Cooperation.
Unlike the previous organizational structure, which involved four vice rectors, Universitas PGRI Madiun has chosen an efficiency-driven approach this term by streamlining its leadership into three main positions. Dr. Supri Wahyudi Utomo, M.Pd., emphasized that this policy was taken to ensure more intensive coordination and a stronger focus on the university’s major targets.
“This new leadership structure is designed to be leaner to prioritize effectiveness in each field of work. We aim to maintain program sustainability while improving service quality so that Universitas PGRI Madiun can become a campus that delivers real impact,” said Dr. Supri Wahyudi Utomo, M.Pd.
In an interview, Dr. Supri Wahyudi Utomo, M.Pd., stated that three main pillars will be prioritized over the next four years: superior accreditation, internationalization, and digitalization. Achieving superior institutional accreditation by 2027 has become a crucial short-term target.
To support this goal, the internationalization scheme will be expanded through strengthening global networks. Programs such as joint research, student exchanges, and the signing of Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with overseas universities will be accelerated. In line with this, the digitalization of service systems will serve as the backbone in creating transparent and efficient campus governance.
The division of tasks within this new cabinet is also designed to integrate various sectors. Vice Rector I now holds strategic control by combining academic affairs with research and innovation. Meanwhile, Vice Rector II focuses on planning stability and resource management, and Vice Rector III oversees student potential while bridging external collaborations and digitalization efforts.
Dr. Supri Wahyudi Utomo, M.Pd., also reminded that leadership positions are mandates that demand high moral responsibility. He emphasized the importance of leaders serving as “parent figures” for the academic community—figures who embrace aspirations and remain open to feedback.
“As leaders, one of our functions is to be parental figures who are willing to receive input. Aspirations from the academic community will serve as evaluation material in making policies for our collective progress,” he stressed.
He invited all leaders and members of the academic community to transform challenges into opportunities. He expressed optimism that this new formation will lead Universitas PGRI Madiun toward a strategic leap as a dignified university.
“Let us prove that Universitas PGRI Madiun is not only ready to face the future, but also to shape the direction of the future,” he concluded.
